His work has been recognized in regional competitions, including a first-place finish at the Georgia Music Festival and a second place at the Bob Jones University piano competition. He continues to study, perform, and release new work independently.
His music sits in the slower-listening tradition — written to be sat with, not skimmed — drawing on the line that runs from the European masters through the cinematic composers of today.
